I'm annoyed by people who write blogs about themselves. However, this self-absorption is oddly pleasurable to take part in.
Living in Moscow for about three months now, I've come across my fair share of all the stereotypical mockery towards Russia that we have in the US. I must admit that it is pretty funny, but none the less, Moscow has more to offer than just shady people, vodka, Putin, that church with the onion shaped domes, communism and slavic girls...It offers you a chance to see a city and a people who have absorbed some astonishingly interesting ways of going about daily life.
I'm not naive enough to think that updates will be a daily occurrence, but I hope to leave to tid-bits for the idle wanderer who ventures across "7 time zones to Moscow". --And that reminds me...if you have a better title for my page please let me know.
mannn, try 16 Time Zones to Irkutsk. Easier to just go 8 the other way...
ОтветитьУдалитьHey Danushka! Sounds like you're living a fascinating life. There's a possibility that I'll be in Moscow in January for three weeks....contingent upon 1) whether or not i get into this program and 2) if I decide Russia in January is better than becoming an EMT, my other option. In any case, keep writing!
ОтветитьУдалитьnot really sure why that says Morphology, but this is Martha.
